WHAT WE DO
At Destinations Travel, we specialize in customized travel and tour experiences for individuals and groups. We are located in Central Ohio, but our work is not bound by a physical location.
Destinations Travel was established in 2018. We met many wonderful people and had great experiences with our customers. Unfortunately, we were forced to close in 2020 due to the pandemic and its impact on the travel industry. In February 2024, we dipped our toe back into the waters - restarting Destinations Travel with a renewed passion. We have missed you! Thank you for choosing us.
CHRIS MAYS
Chris is the heart and soul of Destinations. He’s an oversized kid and momma’s boy that loves to laugh and have fun.
For over 20 years, Chris has organized group travel for schools, churches, and senior centers, as well as friends and family. He has been a commercial motorcoach driver since 2003 – driving for touring southern gospel musicians, Greyhound, and other charter bus services.
Chris experienced life at sea as an Entertainment Host for Carnival Cruise Lines, and he has been on more than 65 cruises personally. His extensive experience on both sides have given him the knowledge to help prepare you for your best cruise vacation.
Outside of the travel industry, Chris completed a B.A. in History at Alice Lloyd College and an M.A. in Education from Morehead State University. He taught high school English and history. He was an instructor and military education program manager at a community college. He was also the Safety and Training Manager at a transportation company.
Chris started Destinations Travel because he loves working with people. He has learned the travel industry by listening to travelers and trip organizers and working to make each travel experience memorable. He has made many life-long friends along the way, and he looks forward to meeting you, too.

JEN MAYS
Jen's primary responsibility is to keep Chris in line. She works behind the scenes to support Destinations Travel with creative design and project management.
When not working with Destinations customers, Jen works as a Training Manager with a local hospital. She has worked in healthcare for more than 25 years, focusing on patient experience, organizational development, and health informatics. She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a graduate degree in Strategic Leadership.
